Ecological Funeral

The raw material we use consists of a mixture of calcium carbonate (calcium) and Polyolefin. The simple structural integrity and environmental qualities of the chicken egg was the inspiration for our products. An egg shell is made up of 95% of natural calcium which is held together by proteins.

In order to uphold the stability of our products we use the binding properties Polyolefin instead of proteins. The end product is an extremely environmentally friendly material using very little energy and almost no water to produce. And calcium is a natural raw material, available worldwide and easy to recycle.

Our material supports all efforts towards an environmentally friendly world through the use of lime which is only "borrowed" from nature and is eventually returned through the natural life cycle of burial.
